An Account Executive (AE) is responsible for owning the overall customer relationship and driving business growth within assigned accounts. The role leads the end-to-end sales process, including business value discussions, stakeholder management, opportunity qualification, deal negotiation, forecasting, and closing. Acting as a trusted advisor, the AE helps customers transform their businesses while achieving revenue, growth, and customer success objectives. An Account Executive (AE) is expected to have strong sales, business, and relationship management capabilities, with a proven track record of managing complex customer engagements and delivering business growth. The role requires strong consultative selling skills, executive presence, strategic thinking, and the ability to understand customer business priorities and translate them into technology and transformation opportunities. A successful AE demonstrates expertise in opportunity management, negotiation, forecasting, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration, while effectively orchestrating internal teams and partners to drive customer success. Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, and influencing skills are essential, along with the ability to build trusted advisor relationships with senior executives and consistently achieve revenue, consumption, and customer outcome goals.
